Laser-cuttable file to make a mechanical iris. We scaled it so the interior hole was approximately 7" diameter to fit our porthole on the kitchen door, which made the various standoffs and joining hardware almost precisely 1/4-20 hardware.
This version has no spline on the driving gear for an automotive window motor.
