A small tabletop cylinder press.
Rules
Contact Ashley Lesser for training. Here's the really important stuff:
DO NOT STIR THE INK. To remove ink from canisters, cut a small incision in the 'skin' of the ink, and pull a small amount of fresh ink from beneath. The skin protects the ink!
KISS IMPRESSIONS ONLY. We aren't sure how much pressure the adjustable-height mechanism can take. It's antique, be gentle. This isn't the right equipment for producing the stamped/reverse embossed look you may associate with "letterpress" -- please don't force a deep impression.
ALWAYS CLEAN UP. Oil-based ink will remain wet for several hours. That said, please clean up before you leave the space. Do not let ink dry on blocks, type, or anywhere really.
