• Matt Arnold is the first of many of our Matts.
• Lew is VP, and he loves to make things with leather, and occasionally has time for sleep.

• Brian W. is in phase 2 and he brought a drinko-plinko game that he made.
• Will is an electrical engineer and just moved here.
• Mark is just checking the place out.
• Santana is celebrating his first official meeting and is also taking these fantastic notes for the wiki.

Initial Security Camera Placement on B Side

• With the addition of B side, we now have 4 more entrances to our building.
• We should (at minimum, until we have more property over there) have those covered by our security camera system.

Proposal:
Amend the list of approved security cameras to include:

• A camera covering the B Side front door in the office area
• A camera in the B Side warehouse watching the side (courtyard) and garage doors.
• A camera in the B Side warehouse watching the rear door.

Board and Membership Communication

The board is seeking suggestions on improved methods of communication with members! Specifically, we are looking for:

• Quick, informal ways for members to get questions about space operation answered
• Methods for members to suggest changes/improvements to the space ensuring the entire board has a chance to evaluate them and the member who suggested the change gets feedback about their idea

Please give us your input and suggestions! They can either be sent to @carpenma or board@i3detroit.org. We look forward to hearing your ideas on improving the space!

Zone updates

Jewelry Zone

• The 2 day class went well!

Kiln Zone

• The Vacuum-Former needs some love - Charlie247 (talk)
  • The control circuit receives power to the box but no worky
  • The Vacuum pump and Heater circuits both work properly when the contactors are manually actuated.

Laser Zone

• Wolverine finally has a new tube.
• Bumblebee is engraving poorly. Suggest using Wolverine instead.

Media Lab

• Within the next two weeks the PC will be wiped and cleared off, make sure you save files.
• Due to lack of funds the zone is considering using refillable inkjet cartridges.

Vinyl Zone

• Everything is working
• The zone is designed to be self taught but if you want a little extra knowledge, ask for a training from the ZC.
• ZC will be on vacay until March 1. Please keep the zone nice :D

Welding Zone

• The zone has 2 upcoming classes.

Wiki

• Meeting wednesday 19:30 to clean up old articles and to maybe install some plugins
