About Me
Growing up in a small town in Illinois, I occupied myself by tearing apart electronics, working on cars, and fixing anything I could get my hands on. I graduated in 2011 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in General Engineering, and went on to get my S.M. in Mechanical Engineering at MIT in 2013. I liked grad school so much, I stuck around and got my PhD in 2016. Since then, I’ve been working at Ford in Electrified Powertrain Engineering as a High Voltage Battery Systems Engineer.
