DATE CHANGE Plastic Injection Molding Orientation, Thursday Feb 4, 7-9pm

Come get familiar with our plastic injection molding zone Thurs. Jan 28 from 7pm to 9pm!  We will cover the benefits of injection molding vs 3D printing and other fabrication techniques.  Product design, mold design,  the injection molding process and associated costs are topics that will be explored.

No experience necessary, however, i3 is not a job shop, so it is a real plus and will reduce your costs to have CNC training and CAD/CAM training, all available at i3.

Generally, when a project moves from prototype to production or requires a nice surface finish and/or tight tolerances then plastic injection molding is considered.  i3 is unique in offering you a viable way to enter the world of professional plastic injection molding for a fraction of the normal cost if you are willing to develop some basic skills as mentioned above.
